SERVICES

HIV/AIDS Welfare Benefits and Housing Outreach Project
One four day a week worker giving advice to people who are HIV positive or who have AIDS on benefits at three centres ( two hospitals and one day centre)in the Borough. We also have a Housing Adviser who gives half a day¹s advice to users of River House (a day centre).

Mental Health Welfare Benefits Outreach Project
The project consists of two workers giving benefits advice at five outreach centres. The project also encourages the take up of benefits and project workers give training to workers involved with people with mental health needs.


Outreach Advice Worker,
This project consists of one full time worker giving welfare benefits advice in various centres in the South of the Borough and sheltered housing, concentrating on older people and take up of benefits.
